Senior Quality Engineer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Assists the Product Quality Manager in role responsibilities.
Provides leadership to Quality Engineers, Specialists, and Technicians as directed by the Product Quality Manager.
Reviews design plans, process procedures, test procedures, and quality manuals to understand the scope, requirements, and function of the problem(s).
Identifies root causes of problems in the production process; recommends and/or implements corrective measures.
Analyzes data to identify trends in product quality or defects with a goal of mitigating and preventing recurrence and future defects.
Ensures manufacturing processes comply with federal, state, local, and industry standards and regulations.
Manages aspects of the Quality Management System as assigned (i.
e.
, CAPA, MRB, and Audit Management).
Establishes and maintains policies and procedures for coordinated workflow within the department.
Provides leadership by assisting team members in Production Quality, Manufacturing, Planning, and Engineering to produce certified articles under the production certificate.
Participates and acts as a representative in audits when the Company is audited by outside organizations (i.
e.
, customers and regulatory organizations) and when auditing vendors.
Gathers data for the Company's established quality metrics.
Reviews and approves manufacturing plans, Engineering Change Orders, and purchase orders.
Conducts oneself in accordance with Company's Core Values Performs other duties as assigned.
Assists with Supplier audits and source inspection on occasion as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE - Subject Matter Expert in Federal Aviation Regulations, especially 14 CFR Part 21, 43 and 145 Minimum five years' experience in an aircraft manufacturing or repair facility Minimum three years' experience as a DMIR / DAR strongly preferred.
Minimum five years' experience working with AS9100/AS9110 Quality Management Systems, including gathering data and preparing metrics to be presented at Management Review Minimum five years' experience in a Quality leadership role Minimum five years' experience of the PR/MRB process Minimum five years' experience in auditing Quality Systems Extensive knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn production processes Thorough understanding of federal, state, local, and industry standards, guidelines, and regulations Experience conducting Root Cause Analyses Understanding of lean manufacturing and quality optimization in a production environment ASQ Quality Engineer Certification or ability to obtain within one year of hire Proficient in the use of precision measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to serve as a liaison between quality and internal/external customers Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas, concepts, and proposals to a wide range of audiences at all levels Ability to handle multiple projects at one time, with attention to detail Ability to work individually and in a team Ability to travel in and out of country required and must hold a valid driver's license.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
