Manufacturing Senior Engineer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Confers with management, Design Engineering, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Suppliers and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to address engineering-related production problems and to facilitate production processes and the production of new parts.
Interprets engineering drawings.
Facilitates correction of errors on drawings and documents all relevant information identified during manufacturing and maintenance operations.
Authors Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and change Engineering Drawings to revise data and support manufacturing and maintenance operations.
Investigates reports of defective, damaged or malfunctioning parts, assemblies, systems or equipment to determine nature of problem, and potential solutions for submittal to the Material Review Board (MRB).
Coordinates the manufacturing launch of new/revised parts including establishing goals, training staff, and evaluating results.
Provides leadership for Manufacturing Engineers.
Mentors team members during complex projects.
Conduct oneself in accordance with Company's Core Values.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE - BS degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Aeronautical Engineering or 10
years of equivalent manufacturing experience Minimum of 5 years of diversified experience on transport category rotorcraft preferred Command knowledge of Engineering Drawings, Engineering Specifications, Maintenance Manuals, Structural Repair Manuals, and Parts Catalogs.
Strong project management skills required.
Understanding of maintenance manuals, Structural Repair Manuals, Engineering Drawings and engineering specifications.
Understanding of engineering processes (requirements evaluations and analysis).
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
Familiar with SolidWorks and PDM Software Strong organization skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas, concepts and proposals to a wide range of audiences at all levels, technical and non-technical, internal and external.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
